And here we are! All moved in as of about 3 months ago! I'm so ready to begin my "adventure" of creativity, inspiration, friendships, and fun! How about you? I want to craft, organize, clean, cook, bake, and arrange my whole life! I get such an enormous sense of satisfaction from these things, don't you? :)
My daughter Callie and I are a tight couple - we rarely do anything without the other. But, she's 15 and breaking away a little and I need diversion! I want to feel like I have a friend along with me when she's busy with her friends while I do my thing!
I've taken the first step and quit a terribly unfulfilling part time job to free up weekend time. There are things about that job I will miss so much (the children I worked with) but it was a decision I felt I could not put off any longer for my healthy and sanity! That remains to be seen, I suppose, but I'm certain leaving won't hurt me at all. So, check back in a couple of days to see my first official Good Thing (I am the HUGEST Martha fan, and I'm boldly stealing her tag phrase until I can come up with my own! I'm sure she won't mind!)
